Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I ve now had stomach cramps and a sore lower back for 48 hours that comes and goes. Also fatigued somewhat. No blood in urine or stools, no diarrhea, no nausea. My boyfriend complained of the same symptoms earlier in the week, 24 hours after seeing him, I got my symptoms. Could he have passed a virus to me? What do you think this may be?
I would quote an intake of proton pump inhibitor as omeprazole on an empty stomach and paracetamol with meals after 1 hour of omeprazole on 12 hour basis for 2 days.
Do follow up after 2 days or early as per the need. Do not panic for passing of virus of any sort causing such issue.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon

What Causes Stomach Cramps And A Sore Lower Back?
Hello, * Sore lower back seems to be related to possible muscle spasm from positional variation of some sort. * Stomach cramps look like stress-related gastric release causing gastritis and discomfort.
