Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The given symptoms could be due to GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease), it is due to more acid secretion in the stomach or in the gastric region that goes up in the esophagus and causes the burning sensation.

An antacid may not be helpful, but PPI (Proton pump inhibitor) need to be tried, and the best drug is tablet Omeprazole with Domperidone once in a day, and it has to be taken for six weeks, avoid taking a heavy and spicy meal.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Akhtarhusain
