What Causes Stinging Pain In The Knee Joints?
I am a 50 year old woman with no knee problems in my history, but recently noticed a stinging pain on the outside of my knee joint, only when pressure is applied directly. It doesn t hurt to walk, jump, or exercise on, but kneeling in a certain positiion causes stinging pain.

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persists better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated. An MRI scan would be helpful to rule out possible ligament or tendon involvement.
