I have been having a dull pain sometimes stinging pain in my upper left shoulder area to the top of the shoulder but not the neck and not near the spine. It is not sharp and does not change with movement - I am 37 female treated for WPW 4 years ago. any thoughts. It just doesn t seem like a muscle or like nerve- over the counter does not make a differance.
The stinging pain in the shoulder can be due to bursitis or capsulitis- mild inflammation of the rotator cuff. Such pain can be controlled with regular pain killers and physiotherapy.
