I am having grabbing sharp pain at my right waistline in my back area. It s when ever I move . If I sit stil I feel the pain but not to bad. I have had this for 1 week. Now tonight I am having a lot of gas smelling like rotten eggs . These are my symptoms. It s really hard to get up from laying down and in sitting position. What are the possibilities that could be wrong with me
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have stabbing sharp pain in the back along with flatulence which could be two main reasons. First of all it could be gastroesophageal reflux disease, secondly it is due to intestinal infection. There can be other reasons also like kidney stone or kidney infection , pancreatitis or ulcers .Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take ant acids such as Omeprazole along with proton pump inhibitors such as Ranitidine. You should take preventive measures such as you should not sleep immediately after dinner wait at least an hour and then you should go to bed. Avoid large meals intake. You should take small but frequent meals. Drink plenty of water. Avoid hot and spicy foods. Drink plenty of water and avoid taking sea food and nuts. Visit gastroenterologist once and get it examined. Start treatment after proper diagnosis. Doctor may also refer you to nephrologist for kidney problem.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
