What Causes Stabbing Pain Next To Hip Bone?

I was struck last night with an intense stabbing pain some say it s my abdominal but I feel like it is right next to my hip bone where I wild believe your ovaries to be it comes and goes with intensity but has not gone away hurts when I sit lay down and sometimes. Walk what could this be

Thank you for question. This can be sand moving down your ureters drinking water will help, but if there is fever pain vomiting or severe constant pain please refer to the ER cause this might be appendicitis which needs prompt medical attention. Hope this helped.
