What Causes Spreading Bug Bites On My Leg?

I woke up with bites on my upper leg yesterday. There was a patch of four, shaped like a square. I assumed they were spider bites and did nothing. Now, it is inflamed and there are dark red dots spreading from the area. I was dizzy yesterday and a bit today and now I am concerned that my dizziness has to do with the bites and not from dehydration. What could it be and how should I treat it?

The possible diagnosis of the condition based on the description of the lesions is papular urticaria or insect bite hypersensitivity. You should try to use mosquito nets as much as possible. Topical steroid cream like mometasone can be applied over the affected area. Oral antihistamines like fexofenadine may also be used. The dizziness is unlikely to be due to the same.Consult your doctor regarding the above mentioned therapy. Regards
