What Causes Spotting?
My period was overdue by 2 weeks, I thought that I was getting my period but it was just brownish discharge, I started to use a tampon just in case but there is barely any blood but pus on the tampon. The blood that is there is bright red spots in the pus. What is this?

Pus could be sign of infection, would advice you to take a visit to your doctor for a checkup, to know the exact reason. For delay periods would advice you to take a pregnancy test done.
