What Causes Spotting And Negative Pregnancy Tests?
my period was due on June 1st and I have now only recently started spotting some very dark discharge (dark brown) but I don't have any symptoms of my period (besides being able to be slightly annoyed randomly) and I've taken two at-home pregnancy tests which both came out negative. any ideas??

Delayed periods with spotting and pregnancy test negative suggests hormonal imbalance. I would suggest for repeat pregnancy test or blood high test (if you are keen to conceive) to diagnose or exclude pregnancy and get result specific treatment from your gynecologist.
