What Causes Spongy Lump On The Foot While Suffering From RA?
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I haved RA now for 19 years. Here lately, when I work longer hours more than 8 my foot-ankle gets more inflamed-swollen, but recently I've got a soft spongy lump on the top of my foot where to foot bends. The lump has been staying a rosey red color. (for about 6 weeks now) but doesn't hurt? Is it just another RA demon? My right foot hasn't bothered me for about two years. For the past two years it seems like it has been only the left side of my body that was bothering me (hip, knee and mainly my foot) until 6 weeks ago. Now the left side of my body is good! It's all went to my right foot. Is the lump anything to be concerened about?
This can be RA nodule. You may need to prevent further deformity in RA cases.
You can take dose of methotrexate. You can start combination consulting your treating doctor
NSAIDs, DMARDs (disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs) are sometimes prescribed in severe cases. Newer biologics have role in RA.
There is good role of diet and achieve correction through it, for details you can directly contact on my profile http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-vaibhav-gandhi/63503
