What Causes Sores On Inner Thigh After Having Sex?
My daughter is almost 17, takes birth control and had her first sexual experience with a boy several months ago (much to my horror), this morning before showering she called my into the bathroom and on her inner left upper thigh she has several small to medium sized (pimple like) sores that look to be filled with pus or a clear liquid, from what she has told me they do not travel close to her vaginia but they are tender and sore to touch...could this be a herpes breakout of some sort? She does have sensitive skin. We have to be careful with makeup, laundry detergents and lotions or she gets rashes. Should I take her to the Dr. Asap?
Based your explanation of your daughter's problem it is more likely that she has developed infection of hair follicles. Less chances of it being herpes. It is better to consult a dermatologist. Based on the lesions he/she can put your daughter on medication.
Hope This helps.
If you have any other queries, feel free to ask.
