Hi...
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns...

As per your complain soreness of tongue that occurs at night can be due to Acid reflux in which acid from stomach refluxes to throat and mouth and can cause soreness of tongue..
You should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and in case of acid reflux he can advise you to take Proton pump inhibitor like Omeprazole or Rabeprazole, antacid like calcium carbonate or milk of magnesia.
Avoid spicy and acidic foods and sleep with head slightly raised..
Take a short walk after meals and take your dinner 2 hours before sleeping..
Do warm saline gargles and suck on ice..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
