May I know since when have you got implant and do you have past history of similar complaints with the implant? If you have been using it for long time and you have no such past history,this cause is less likely.Secondly,the reason your implant is cause of your abdominal cramps and diarrhoea is also minimal.Abdominal cramps waking you from night and causing diarrhoea may be due to acute gastroenteritis,irritable bowel syndrome,food poisoning etc.Do you have other complaints like blood/mucous in stools, fever,vomiting,weight loss,decreased appetite?If yes to any of these complaints or if your symptoms persists,you need to visit physician for further assessment and treatment accordingly.
