What Causes Soreness , Burning Sensation And Pain In The Breast?
Hi, I am experiencing, sharp soreness in my breasts, specifically more on the right breast than the left and it feels like a burning sensation also on my right nipple. it became very sensitive and painful while I was in the shower and had warm water running over it. What could it be?
I really appreciate your concern. If a lady with similar symptoms comes to my clinic I would ask her about her about age, sexual life, skin allergies, whether she is pregnant or breast feeding child and do the physical examination of breast. Because soreness of nipples could be due to friction, hormonal imbalances, inflammatory disorders, allergic skin conditions, infections, sexual activity, pregnancy or breastfeeding. I advise you have cold and warm compresses for relieving the symptoms. You'll feel better. Hope my answer has solved your query. Take Care.
Thank you.
Best Regards. Dr. Manan
