What Causes Soreness At The Tip Of Penis?

The head of my penis is extremely sore. There is scabbing along the top around the opening. Nothing I take can remove the pain. If the head of my penis comes in contact with anything clothing excetera. Then it is excruciatingly the painful. I am NOT sexually active. So I know it is not an STD. What could be causing this? Could it be some form of infection?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be Balanitis. It can be due to combination of fungal and bacterial infection. You can use saline or warm water to clean it. Avoid soaps and irritants. If you were my patient with such condition I would suggest ointments containing combination of anti fungal agents like Miconazole , anti bacterial agents like Neomycin and corticosteroid like Beclamethasone for local application.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
