What Causes Soreness And Tenderness On The Scalp?

Hello, I have been diagnosed with epilepsy. Have suffered with 2 convulsions in the passed three weeks. In the past week my head has been really sore, weak and tender. Today I noticed some bumps in my scalp that are really sore. I am questioning if I should go to the hospital.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

Being diagnosed with epilepsy is associated with the risk to get injured during an epileptic attack.
This might have happened after the last episodes of epileptic contractions explaining the soreness in your head.

I advise you to consult with neurologist and get EEG and other neurological exams to determine the cause.

Take medications as prescribed.

All the best.
