What Causes Soreness And Pain At Bottom Right Side Of Chest?
My bottom right rib is very sore to touch near to the stomach side not the spinal joint side... This has come on over night but I have had these pains in the same rib before. None of the other ribs on both sides hurt its just the one at the bottom on the right side... Sore to apply pressure but its not a constant pain only when moving in certain directions or pressing on the rib, this gives me a sharp stabbing pain everytime but I m sure I haven t broken or fractured it. Can you help at all ? Many thanks

Most of the time this could be due to muscular spasm, and second could be due to Hyperacidity,
In differential diagnosis Plural effusion need to be ruled out
Investigation:
X-ray chest
Treatment:
maintain good posture while sleeping
Medication:
Tab Omeprazole 40 mg Tab Domperidone 30 mg once in day at evening time
