What Causes Soreness And Itching On Top Of The Intergluteal Cleft?

Yesterday I notice the top of my butt crack was itchy today it s gotten worse. It appears to be a tiny cut and is sore and red. I m also treating a vaginal yeast infection, so I ve put anti fungal cream on just in case this to is yeast related. It s getting to a level of pain that it s uncomfortable to sit or lie down

hi. i have read your question and understand your concern.

itchy red rash in the intergluteal region is known as intertrigo. intertrigo is due heat, sweat, friction which leads to overgrowth of yeast and bacteria.

i suggest you to keep the area dry. apply a mixed cream like candid-b in the area. take tab cetrizine once daily for symptomatic relief.
