What Causes Sore Throat With Difficulty In Swallowing Saliva And Chest Pain?

Hi I have been to doctor about my sore throat I am on cefalor for like 4-5 days now it doesn t seam to be working if anything it all of a sudden went worse like three days ago I can t stop swallowing my saliva it feels like it s blocked up with mucus or a bubble feeling and I also am getting chest pains now and again I had a CT and blood done they came back normal I really don t like feeling like this and don t know what s wrong

Hi.
Since you have been already under Cefaclor and still got worsening, and you can not stop swallowing saliva, and have a feeling of blocked up with mucus or bubble feeling and chest pains with normal CT and blood; the most probable cause is that you are suffering from severe granular Pharyngitis.
The CT scan will be normal in this case.
You need to be changed over to another antibiotic, add on a good anti-inflammatory and decongestant tablets, have gargles.
Since blood tests are already done , now you need to undergo ENT Examination, endoscopy to see what exactly is causing you the problem, and still better to take a throat swab for microscopy and culture and sensitivity to get an idea if another antibiotic most suitable needs to be added or so.
