What Causes Sore Throat, Fever And White Spots On Tonsils?

I ve had a sore throat for about 5 days. I had a fever a few days ago with white spots on my tonsils. My fever broke the next day and the white spots are now gone. However, today I noticed my left tonsil almost looks as if its separated from my throat or falling off. Is that possible? I went to the Doc. and I don t think he really understood what I meant and kinda brushed me off. No disrespect to him but I know what my tonsils usually look like, and it hurts so bad to swallow or even just yawn. Help!

Hello
Welcome to Health Care Magic.

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having sore throat, fever and white spots on the tonsils. These symptoms indicate infection.
This requires treatment by the use of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Hope this is helpful to you.

Thank you
