What Causes Sore Throat, Cough And Milky Yellowish Mucus?
I have had a sore throat for about a week, and a cough that comes with it. The cough is coming from my throat not deeper. i cough up a milky yellowish goo. its not formed like a normal sputem it s just gooey. What might I have, and what should I do?

You are having acute pharyngitis infection...
Take cefpodoxime like antibiotic full course as you have symptom since week...
Take vitamin c lozenges....
Drink more water....
Avoid excess spicy foods....
Fruit juices more...
For congestion relief take phenylnephrine like drug
Salt water gargles done
It is better to CBC also...
Consult physician for examination
