What Causes Sore Throat Along With Pain And Cracking Sounds In Ear?

I have a sore throat with ear pain when I open my mouth wide I hear popping and cracking sounds in my ear.my throat feels Like it hurts where my ears drain in my throat. I have lots of mucas.this has been going on for months and have already taken a 14 day course of antibiotics.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you have sore throat can be due to infection in throat which can also lead to infection in ears due to communications he ear and throat via Eustachian tube..
The popping and cracking sounds are due to infection and fluid accumulation in ears..
But confirmatory diagnosis can be done by an Otolaryngologist and get an Otoscopic examination done along with throat culture and Laryngoscopy..
Treatment will be planned accordingly..
As of now do warm saline gargles and steam inhalation..
Take Ibuprofen for pain..
Suck throat lozenges and chew Vitamin C pellet.
Put antibiotic ear drops..
