What Causes Sore Throat Along With Cough?
I have had a sore throat and slight cough for almost a month after taking Pulmicort nebuamp sinus rinse. I stopped the rinse when the pain started but it will not go away. A walk in clinic nurse told me the throat did not look red or inflamed with just a tongue depressor. In that time I also had a flu shot and pneumo shot. I cannot get into my GP or the ENT doctor who gave me the pulmicort for sinus problem. My age is 71. I am female.

It could be minor throat inflammation.
As of now, you can do warm saline gargles for symptomatic relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult an ENT specialist and start on antibiotics.
