What Causes Sore Throat After Taking Amoxicillin?

Hi I have chest infection went to the docters and now taking antibiotics amoxicilian pills, but I have a sore throat and it I had if before the chest infection, it stings sometimes and I looked in the mirror today and noticed it had lil bumbs at the back of my throat. Chest is getting better but not the stinging feeling in my throat, can you help please. Kind regards Rosana.

Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your irritation of throat can be most likely from gastric acid reflux. Amoxycillin can give gastric irritation also. So taking a proton pump inhibitor like esomeprazole will be helpful for this. Warm saline gargle will be helpful to get relief. You can also use throat lozenges.
