What Causes Sore Red Bump On Knee With White Head?

Over the past 3 days I have noticed a red bump on my knee that is a little sore. Today it had a white head and it and I popped it and now it's swollen up. It's really sore. I have been tanning in the tanning bed recently. That's the only different thing I have been doing

It is likely that the lesion formed due to trauma to the area.

This can be in the form of direct or indirect trauma to the skin.

You may want to consider the use of an anti inflammatory pain killer to help with the pain and swelling. Examples would be ibuprofen, aspirin, naproxen, cataflam

In addition, the area can be cleaned with a mild antiseptic and a topical antibiotic applied.
If the symptoms continue with no improvement then you should visit your doctor.
