What Causes Sore Breasts Along With Abdominal Pressure And Constipation?
Hello, so the last week I have had sore breasts, occasional pain in myback sides and lower abdomen. I have also been experiencing some pressure in my abdomen and constipation. My periods have been irregular but as of recent its been light and I am sexually active with my husband and we don t use protection. I really need a thought or opinion as to what may be happening please.
Hello and welcome to HCM, Sore breasts, backache and pressure in the abdomen are indicative of pre-menstrual syndrome. Pre-menstrual syndrome occurs before the onset of periods and is characterized by soreness of body, feeling of fullness and uneasiness. These symptoms disappear with the onset of periods. However, clinical assessment is required to rule out other cause of these symptoms. Constipation can be managed by including plenty of fluids in diet and plenty of fiber. Besides, regular exercise, eating fresh fruits and vegetables will also help.
Thus, consult your primary healthcare provider for above symptoms.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
