What Causes Soft Lump On The Top Of Testicle?

Hi, I have found a small, soft kind of lump on the top of my left testicle. It can only be felt occasionally, sometimes it is there and sometimes it is not. It causes no pain, and I have no other symptoms of testicular cancer, but I am worried obviously. It is very small, like a spot, with bouncy feel. It seems to only be there when the testicles are fully descended, but sometimes not even then. Do you have any idea what this could be? I have tried to get an appointment with my local doctor but it is too busy and I don t have any time off work. I am 24-years old. Thank you.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Small lump in the upper part of testis indicates it could be epididymitis. It is not a dangerous situation but needs attention.
You can take Tablet Levofloxicin 500mg once daily for 10 days and see if the lump subsides or not. Also take Tablet Ibuprofen with paracetamol twice a day. Drink enough fliuds and keep yourself well hydrated.
If it remains the same, kindly visit Surgeon for evaluation and management.
