What Causes Sneezing And Sore Throat While On Meningtitis Vaccination?

My 18 year old son had the meningitis vaccination on Wednesday as he is off to uni. On Friday he thought he had a bad case of his hayfever as he seemed to be sneezing and cold like symptoms. He has also developed a sore throat. Could these be side effects?

I really appreciate your concern, it may not be the side effects of vaccine but it could be due to some allergic condition, if this is the side effects of vaccine then it would have been informed to him prior to vaccine, but it is nothing to worry even it is due to vaccine, because it is self limiting hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
