Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

From your description I can deduct that the cause of your symptoms can be:
1. A potential allergic reaction.
2. Cold or a potential influence.
I don't advice to take an over the counter medication. My suggestion is to consult first your doctor because it is necessary to do some tests to reach the right diagnosis. Than you can have the right treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Elona Xhardo
