What Causes Small White Patches On The Torso And Back?

I have small white ovals on my torso and back. They started out red three months ago in the spring and now they have turned white in the summer and have spread to my back. I ve had them for 5 months now and they are starting to get dry. They do not itch or hurt however they won t go away. What are they and what do I need to take to treat them?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think she is having a yeast skin infection.
I think you may need to go to a dermatologist to check your lesions.
Possibly antifungal medications can be used.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
