Bumps on the vagina may not always be serious, sometimes they go away by themselves. Take care of your hygiene, do not shave avoid sex. Bumps on the vagina are commonly due to ingrown hair,
fordyce spots, vaginal ski tags, cysts, etc. When they become bigger in size and produce discharge, bleeding, irritation or pain they are infected. Do not scratch, touch or pop, wash the area with antibacterial soap. Dry it and apply ointment
hydrocortisone to ease discomfort. You can take
acetaminophen for relieve from pain.
Wear loose fitting cotton clothes and underwear, changer your undies at least twice daily. It should go away. However, to stay on the safer side you are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP if it is resistant and persists. It can be genital warts caused by
HPV, get
STD tests done. If tests are positive, you will be treated accordingly. If sexually active, get your sexual partner also tested.
