What Causes Small Brown Spots On The Penis Foreskin After Intercourse?

I recently had unprotected sex with a partner I wasn t familiar with. I now have noticed small brown spots that look similar to moles, but aren t raised, that started at the tip of my foreskin and have spread to my scrotum, fading with time (about 10 total). I also have slight sensativity and soreness of the tip of my penis. Is this an STD and, if so, which one?

Hello,

Your problem could be Penile melanosis which is usually a benign or harmless condition. It's characterized by small patches of dark skin on the penis.

This change in color is known as hyperpigmentation, and it occurs when melanin (brown pigment) forms deposits in the surface layer of skin. Penile melanosis is also known as penile lentiginosis. You may consult a skin specialist for further investigation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
