What Causes Slurred Speech And Imbalance In The Body?
I am a GP myself in Melbourne and have a relative who has cerebral atrophy.He is 68years old non alcoholic ,he realised something was wrong with him when he lost his balance when playing Golf!! He cannot walk without support now lest he falls.His speech too is slurred and he yet drives.I feel he is not safe to drive.What is his prognosis given that there is no treatment or cure for this condition.??thankyou Dr Nazli Ozeer.

only symptomatic treatment can be done.. and some medication slow down the progression of disease... increase mental. exercises with some activities, physiotherapy, psychological counselling, antioxidants medicines, complete cure of this disease is not their only we can slow down it's progress
