What Causes Sleeplessness After Using Vyvanse Drug?
I recently switched from adderall ir 30 mg to vyvanse xr 60mg. The vyvanse is way too strong. I am zoned out during the day and have trouble sleeping at night. So, I opened up the capsule and put half on my tongue to swollow. I didn t seen to feel much effect. Will vyvanse still work taking it this way? It s expensive and I don t want to waste my meds.
Hi Thanks for this query Like adderall, vyvanse is a very good central nervous system stimulant used for a variety of conditions. It may give the symptoms you have described especially when you start with high doses. The recommended starting dose is 30 mg once daily in the morning. Dosage may be adjusted in increments of 10 mg or 20 mg at approximately weekly intervals up to maximum dose of 70 mg/day. I will suggest you see your prescribing Doctor and present the symptoms.your system may however adapt after a few doses.Your Doctor may also judge to start with 30mg and increase progressively till desired results are obtained. Just discuss it with your Doctor. Hope my answer will help you Best regards
