What Causes Skin Rashes Along With Dry And Itchy Skin?

Hi,My name is Simon,
I have been sufering from skin rush and use of skin antifungle e.g gentamicin creams hsa not helped. Where the skin is affected, it leaves a roud area (circle) which is a rough skin and very itchy and which I feel soo good when I scratch with my fingers !.I feel that my problems is in the blood. What should I use as tne best medication ?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain skin rash that is itchy and leaves a round area can be due to Ringworm that is a fungal infection and it can cause lesions that are round and can occur in different areas of the body..

The topical medication that you are using that is Neosporin is an antibacterial or antibiotic ointment and is not an anti fungal medication, therefore if it is fungal infection Neosporin will not resolve it..

I would suggest you to consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated and a clinical examination and microscopic examination of scraping from the wound will help in diagnosis..
In case of ringworm you can be advised to applly antifungal creams over it along with steroid ointments..
You should also keep the area clean and free from moisture..
In repeated and resistant cases oral antifungal medicines like Fluconazole can be advised..
