What Causes Skin Peeling From The Finger Tips?
I have a friend who has terrible trouble with her fingertips cracking and peeling - especially her thumbs and forefingers. The peeling is usually preceded by tiny brown spots showing up on her fingertips in the same place the peeling takes place. She has been to dermatologists and various M.D.s and none of them can pinpoint what is causing this, and she complains of it being very painful. What might this be?

The symptoms of your friend seem to be related to a fungal infection. I recommend washing and drying frequently the area. I also recommend using antifungal treatment.
I suggest your friend take antifungal medication such as Fluconazole one tablet a day.
