What Causes Skin Coloured Rashes On Penis?

I have what seems to be rashes on the shaft of my penis with areas that have lines through them. It gets irritated easily and doesn t seem to want to heal. It s been like this for around a month now. There has been one small bump that appeared but it s the same color of my skin and does not have puss/mucous. There s slight discomfort from the friction of my pants and it burns after masturbating. I d like to know if there s anything I can try to help it heal. So far I ve used petroleum jelly, neosporin and Ive just started using triple antibiotic cream.

Hello,

You are suffering from rashes on the shaft of the penis. It gets irritated and is failing to heal due to friction rub from your pants. It is burning on masturbation and is causing you discomfort. Your symptoms may be indicative of allergy due to latex(condom), drug rash, contact dermatitis, sexually transmitted diseases, psoriasis, syphilis, herpes, etc. You are suggested to take care of your hygiene, wear loose fitting cotton clothes, avoid multiple partners and also any sexual activity till you heal.

You can apply ointment Soframycin for relieve on the affected part. You can also apply ointment acyclovir, it is effective. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a urologist. Get STD tests done. If found positive you will be treated with antibiotics and antivirals. Stay away from addictions if any, smoking, drugs, alcohol, etc., for the best efficacy of the medicines.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hello,

You are suffering from rashes on penis that gets flared up due to friction of your pants and also after masturbation. Cause of rashes can be heat rash, fungal infection, sexually transmitted diseases or just poor hygiene. You are suggested to wear loose fitting soft cotton pants and maintain good hygiene, take bath regularly.

Avoid sex or any type of sexual activity. You can apply Soframycin cream for relieve, do not touch or scratch. If the itching is irresistible than you can apply ointment hydrocortisone on the affected area. Get STD tests done to detect any sexually transmitted infection. If positive you will be treated with antibiotics /antivirals.

In case it is fungal infection then apply antifungal creams & take a course of anti fungal medicine orally. Before this get clinically examined by a urologist. Applying Acyclovir cream on the affected area will also give relief.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
