What Causes Skin Bumps During Dry Season?

My husband has bumps that appear every July for the last 8 years. They disappear when the weather cools. They do fester and leave a scar. They start around his ankle, waist and on his back and move. These are not flea bites and no else in the house has these.

Hi.
As per your case history you are having dry eczema (Asteatotic eczema), my treatment advice is -
1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply an emollient cream like Enmoist cream twice daily.
3. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like mometasone cream on affected skin twice daily.
4. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine for itching.

Continue emollient all through the year, especially during dry season.

Thanks.
