What Causes Shortness Of Breath And Headache While Having High Blood Pressure?
I m 41 yo female 4 11 186 lbs taking meds for HBP. Sitting on sofa watching TV, accute shortness of breath, gasped for air, felt thump in center of chest, I think I actually hears it too, then moderate headache immediately after. What is the cause?

I recommend you to go to ER and have an ecg done in view of your high Bp and pain in the ches with thump as higj blood pressure may causr adverse affects on heart and brain. If ecg is normal and you are not having any symptoms like weakness on thr legs or hands, headache or blurring of vision then I advise you to have a thyroid profile done as thyroid dysfunction also causes your symptoms. Hope this is helpful to you.
