What Causes Shiny And Flaky Skin On The Testicles?

I have shiny flaky almost scaly skin on my testicles I have been prescribed Percocet in the form of hydrocodone acetaminophen as well as oxycodone acetaminophen previously due to pain from tumors in my bladder. When I was in the hospital to get the tumors removed the testicle area was not affected at that point in time I was released from the hospital day before yesterday and this evening I noticed it before taking a shower. It does not hurt or itch necessarily but is a concern

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Your symptoms seem to be related to tinea cruris which is a fungal infection. This infection usually appears in warm, moist areas of the body.
Some advice that I can give to you are:
-Apply topical antifungal medications
-Take oral prescribed medication such as Diflucan
-Keep the affected area clean and dry.
-Change clothes and underwear every day.
-Use loose clothes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
