i had sharp shooting pain in my middle finger knuckle, then woke up with a purple bruise there... weird and not sure why it happened. My right knee woke me up the other night with intense pain around the knee bone then just went away, also weird but no bruise... any ideas?

Hello,

You can apply ointment Thrombophob on the affected middle finger. It will help to disperse any blood clots under the skin. Get clinically examined to detect underlying autoimmune disease. Get CBC with WBC done. Get urinalysis, C-reactive protein (CRP), auto-antibody tests, ANA tests done.

Your treatment will depend on the pathology diagnosed and the severity of the symptoms through which you are going through. You can take NSAIDs, Naproxen, one stat after food to get rid of pain. Get connected to a physical therapist, do exercises under observation. Exercises and massage therapy are helpful. You will be referred to a Neurologist if developing neuropathy is detected. You will be treated accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
