What Causes Sharp Pain In Stomach, dizziness And Headache?

Hi. I ve had a cold the past couple of days. Early this morning I woke up to a bunch of sharp pains in my stomach, felt really nauseous and had a headache. I couldn t get up because I was dizzy so I called my mom. She stayed with me and I drank water hoping it would help. It eventually went away I just slept through the pain. Today my stomach is sore and I have a bad headache still. What does this mean?

This is clear indication of 'Pitta vridhi' as per Ayurveda where the signs of vitiation of pitta element is nausea, headache and pain in stomach. In allopathy it is explained as hyperacidity with mild gastritis. There is no difference.

If you take antacids, it would go. You may take small qtys of cold milk every three four hrs with a piece of biscuit or bread. Alternatively may take Avipattikar herbal powder 1 tsp every 6-8 hrs OR simply any allopathic atacid medicine such as magnesium trisilicate etc. First two are natural and better approach.

Hope this answers your query. Better to avoid anti spasmodics and anti emetics at the first instance.
