What Causes Sharp Pain In Right Side Of The Incision Post C-section?
Hi i recently had a c secton 5 days ago. Since then i have have been having a sharp burning stabbing pain on my right side of the insicion. Ive had to previous c sections but never experienced this pain. The medications that were provided for the pain doesnt help for this pain. ANY ADVISE PLZ?
hello, thank you for writing in to hcm. after a c section, the stitches can cause little pain as during the procedure of wound healing irritation n burning type of pain is common. Only if the pain is aggravating and severe even after taking medication, kindly consult your obstetrician so that they can do an ultrasound scan to rule out any abdominal problems. after surgery it is advisable to walk around slowly under supervision and not just be confined to bed. regards, dr.riyanka
