What Causes Sharp Pain Behind The Neck?
For the last three days when I drink cold drinks I feel a quick sharp pain that radiates slightly to the back of my neck. Not coughing or anything and only last for a second. Only occurs with cold drinks. Sharp to dull pain on a scale of 1-10 maybe a 2 it’s just noticeable. Thank you! Mitch

The sharp neck pain is just muscle spasms in response to cold drink. There is nothing to be worried about. If the spasm persist for more than few minutes, apply heat to relax the muscles.
