What Causes Sharp Back Pain While Breathing Along With Headache?
I woke up this yesterday morning with a pain in my middle right back. It progressively got worse through the day and had sharp stabbing pain while breathing and soon got a bad headache a temp of 100. I went to the emergency room and they took blood/urine tests and did a CT scan. They were thinking it was a kidney stone. Results were negative, no kidney stones or masses that they could see. The pain is still severe today and I coughed up blood twice in the last hour.

I really appreciate your concern, the pain could be due to colic but fever is very less likely in my opinion you need to wait for some time for any other symptoms, till then you can have following given treatment
1) Tab Acetaminophen 500 mg
2) Tab Clinidium with Chlorzoxazone three times in day
some time this could be due to anxiety and depression, no need to worry about this, take care.
