General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Endometriosis happens when normal uterus tissue (endometrium) lines outside the uterus. It causes pain, especially during periods, when the bleeding has no way to drain. Since you had unprotected intercourse, you may have a gynecological examination to rule out pregnancy.

All the best.
