General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Taking energy drinks and strong coffee can irritate stomach as well as intestine. It can cause gastritis as well as irritable bowel. You can take not irritating diet like rice with curd , bananas , fruit juices etc. Applying hot water bags will be helpful. Over the counter proton pump inhibitors like nexium will be helpful. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
