What Causes Shaking In The Body?

Last night, all of a sudden after watching a movie I started to feel very cold and was shaking and I went to bed and even under a thick warm comforter I was still freezing. I had to use the bathroom then and it was so hard to sit on the cold toilet seat and I was still shaking. I felt a high fever. I came back to my room and put on a pair of thick socks and got an extra comforter. I laid there under 2 heavy comforters with thick socks on and tried to sleep and all I remember is stuttering and shaking and feeling so fatigued. I then woke up around 7am and had a terrible headache and was slightly sweating. I drank water, took 2 advils and went back to bed. Woke up around noon feeling fine, just a little lightheaded. What was that all about?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern and looking to the history given here I could say that such symptoms is indication of fever that is likely but you do not have any bout of fever then this could be just functional one, you have not mentioned your age and gender this was necessary here, take care and have a nice day.
I find this answer helpful
