What Causes Severe Vaginal Bleeding While Suffering From Endometriosis?

I have been on zoely for the past three months and have been advised to skip the sugar pills as we have endometriosis in the family and I was showing symptoms. I ve had some light to moderate bleeding the last week but The last two days I have had bleeding and severe pain. This morning a circle, thick fleshy piece of what looks like meat came out and all the pain is gone. I am sexually active but don t think I was pregnant. What could cause this?

Hello,

Endometriosis is developed due to the spread of endometrial tissues from inside of the uterus to outer area of uterus and surrounding area. This tissue is the cause of the bleed.

Some times this endometrium as a whole come out along with the bleed That may be the piece shown in your case. Do continue the medicines. Strictly follow the diet as per dietician. Avoid spicy food and dry food.
