What Causes Severe Tiredness Post Recovery From Bell S Palsy?
I had Bell s palsy for 7 months now , I got a lot better but still not where I want to be , I m still feel very tired all over my body everyday , I still feel tingles on my effected side . What can I do to get my energy back and when will my effected side feel normal and not so tired
The exact time frame and nature of recovery varies from one person to the next.
Persons may fall into three groups: (1) complete recovery with no residual problems (2)incomplete recovery of function but no obvious cosmetic issues that can be easily seen (3)permanent problems of function that can also be seen
Most persons, over 90% recover, with no problems however. This can take 6 weeks to 3 months in the majority but can be longer as in your case.
It is also possible, since it has been 7 months that complete and total recovery or return to normal sensation, may not occur.
The use of a wide range of healthy foods along with a comprehensive multivitamin may help with your fatigue. Your doctor may want to rule out anemia and low levels of thyroid hormone as causes.
I hope this helps
